Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises’ Business Vulnerability Cluster in Indonesia: An Analysis Using Optimized Fuzzy Geodemographic Clustering

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused effects in many sectors, including businesses and enterprises. most vulnerable to are micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs). Therefore, this paper aims analyze the business vulnerability of MSMEs Indonesia using fuzzy spatial clustering approach. approach had been implemented social natural hazards Indonesia. Moreover, study proposes Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) optimize Fuzzy Geographically Weighted Clustering (FGWC) order cluster We performed data analysis with dataset from Indonesia’s national socioeconomic labor force survey (SUSENAS SAKERNAS). first compared performance FPA traditional FGWC, as well several known optimization algorithms FGWC such Artificial Bee Colony, Intelligent Firefly Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization, Gravitational Search Algorithm. Our results showed that FPAFGWC best optimizing result context. found almost all regions outside Java Island have businesses. Meanwhile, Island, particularly JABODETABEK area is economic backbone, not vulnerable. Based on study, we provide recommendation handle gap between number micro small (MSMEs)
